The drastic change of climate is the biggest issue of our world that cant be underestimated as we all depend on forest directly for our survival. We all have to agree that they’re more than just trees.
Government has taken many steps to save the forest but that will not going to work till the time individuals dont understand their responsibility.
Recently 24 trees were cut down for better visibility of a particular billboard near Sarjapur flyover in Bangalore which is followed up by a massive outrage on social media. But also do have some places where people are more concerned about nature and environment than anything else.
Ranpur is a small town in the district of Nayagarh in the state of Odisha who didn’t wait for the silent spring and without any government initiative they converted the rock hill to a dense forest and become an example for everyone.
You read it right!
Its a small village 50 families who are living there and they never fail to do their everyday task and never missed a single day to plant trees and protecting the forest. So that no one can dare to cut those trees. But what’s more interesting is that they have their own committee to which take decision for those who tries to cut down the trees.
