Hundreds of students and young mass today marched on Rourkela main road to Uditnagar demanding justice for Shreyas Kesharwani, the +2 student who allegedly died of ragging in Visakhapatnam.
Few days ago the four member team of Andhra Pradesh police visited Rourkela & Bhubaneswar for the investigation of Shreya’s death & after the verification of post mortem report, they made it very clear that the teenager died to ‘contusion’ in his heart and blood clotting in his lungs before his death.
“Hopes of action against the guilty students, hundreds of students organised a march in Rourkela without any organisation or individual taking the lead. The anger is genuine and the demand should be fulfilled.”
In the wake of justice, the Rourkelites requested Honorable President Of India Shri Ramnath Kovind to order for a CBI probe in the case.
As the reports somehow made it clear that Shreyas’s death was due to physical manhandle, anytime Andhra police can take action against the culprits and college authorities.
