They said “Beauty queens from small towns are making just the right kind of noise.” So true it is!
Hailing from a small town of Odisha called Barbil of Keonjhar district, Sukhpreet Kaur proved that no place is too small to dream big and no dream is too big to achieve if you’re highly determined.
Sukhpreet who has already represented Odisha at Miss Glam India2016 is now all set to represent India at Miss United Nation International 2017 in May at Montego bay, Jamaica. Started her journey from Miss Nanhipari-Little Miss India organised by KIIT University every year and later on she decided to pursue her career in fashion designing from Kolkata.
Considering her father Mr. Rajinder Singh as her role model and inspiration who did a lot of charity work, she get a lot of support from her family to achieve her dreams. No doubt that beauty queens from the unfamiliar towns of Odisha are showing their charm around the globe. Recently the gorgeous Sukkhpreet Kaur started having thousands of followers and well wishers on instagram. And her profile shows why she’s a real beauty!!
In a response to Odisha Shines question, when we asked her ‘Is it possible for other youths who don’t belong to big cities to follow the same path as you to achieve their dreams!?’ She said, “Never give up,you don’t know where your destiny is going to take you…Don’t forget your parents who has spent their lives giving their best to you…Maybe you don’t drink you don’t smoke, but the real character is always how you treat the person..always believe in yourself no matter who’is around you…being negative or thrusting negative energy at you ,totally block it off. Because whatever you believe you become. You people are the future of our proud country!! God bless all”
Let’s wish her all the very best to win the crown for India and bring glory to Odisha.
