The never ending brutal assaults on women continues in Odisha, which is in news from last couple of months for crime against women and the steel city has witnessed yet another incident.
According to the sources, the incident took place around midnight when taking advantage of her husband’s absence; the four men broke into the house and raped the woman in sector-7 area. The woman was physically assaulted too, reports said.
Meanwhile the police investigating the case informed that efforts are on to nab the two absconding accused, while the other 2 havve been already arrested.
While the capital is getting more and more unsafe for the women and government seem not doing much despite the repeated incidents of crime against women.
Such crime in Rourkela is the example that the fear of system does not seem to exist in the criminals and hence they keep repeating the cruel act again and again. This is the high time that the responsible authorities must take some serious steps to eradicate the crime from the city.
