Recently 26 year old Manish Jha, was arrested for defaming a girl publicly on Facebook. According to the source, accused created a fake account of a girl and posted her obscene pictures on the Facebook. Cyber cell of crime branch came across some evidence against Jha, who seized his mobile and sim card and took him under their custody. This incident is just a recent example, many innocents are becoming victim of cyber-crime on a daily basis and it is the fastest growing crime in the crime fields.
We always overlook the cons of the using the internet. It can a boon to the mankind but at the same time it’s a very handy tool for the notorious and ill minded people. Internet has given a leeway to the criminals to do bizarre activities which has disastrous consequences.
