One of the most respectable and visionary business leader Bansidhar Panda passes away in Bhubaneswar 2 days back.
The man who’s responsbile for uplifting the business structure in the state, bringing innovation and endless possibilities to Odisha is no more with us.
But it seems like that wasn’t enough for our CM Naveen Patnaik or more surprisingly any BJD leader who couldn’t get time to visit Baijayant Jay Panda’s home after the demise of his father. Some call it their arrogance and some call it lack of courtesy of the Chief Minister who decided to tweet instead of visiting Panda’s house.
Many leaders including Congress leader Niranjan Patnaik, BJP MP and union minister Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan were among the visitors. The entire BJD has started a fresh chapter by going to a new low in politics and making it personal. The party members and supporters may come up with a convincing answer to justify their leaders absence but this clearly shows the insecurity of BJD and lack of courtesy of the party.
Lets look at some of the similar incidents in the past which is known as ‘The Gujrat Difference.’
Narendra Modi & Keshubhai Patel‘s rivalry is known to everyone but that rivalry couldn’t stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi who took out time from this busy schedule to meet former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel and express his condolences over the death of the latter’s son.
Not only one incident, that time Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi asked his officials from the health department to offer medical help to Congress leader and union minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh when he was suffering from liver problem.
Probably this is the difference between PM Modi & CM Naveen, which makes Odisha people believe that Naveen is all about winning the seats now and it’s not the same govt. anymore that it was couple of years ago.
