India lacks in proper defecation system and it should come as no surprise that it ranks at 143rd position among 188 countries which is too low a score for a developing country. It even scored lower than countries like Bhutan, Botswana , Syria and Sri-Lanka.
With PM Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan on the move, India is now in the race to perform better in the health and hygiene sector. The government has aimed to provide 12 million toilets in rural India to make India an open-defecation free country.
Inspired by this mission the famous Bollywood action hero, Akshay Kumar has shaped a movie with the help of director Shree Narayan Singh called “Toilet-Ek Prem Katha”. But what’s make everyone happy that in a recent tweet by the actor, he has been seen thanking our very own Sudarsan Pattnaik for his effort to promote the use of toilets via his sand art.
Art always conveys what words could never convey. Sudarsan with his talent has always focused on sending a message to public for the betterment of India, and it surely touched Akshay’s heart.

Pattnaik said he was honoured after being greeted by the Bollywood actors. “I have been raising several issues through my art across the globe. My purpose is to sensitize people about cleanliness and hygiene. I appreciate the actors for taking up the social issue through cinema,” Pattnaik said.
Now won’t we listen to this heart stealer for our own good and help in our own little ways to make India an open defecation free country and keep it clean and healthy.
